Oh Cruel Insomnia

February 9, 2008 / by honeybugg3

Good Evening, Blog pals:

Neary 4 a.m. and I've been awake since 3.  Sigh.  Listening to George Noory and Coast to Coast A.M.  The topic tonight is something like proper conduct during an out of body experience, including what to do when you run into yer late husband, ex husband and shackup at the same time.  I can see where that would be awkward.

Went grocery shopping with Jetherine yesterday.  We had the babies in tow which is always an experience.  Jethro is picking up some more words, thank goodness.  He now sez "no" "mine", "soda"  'mommy" "whoa"  "uh oh" "away"(when Brody/Buddy is trying to lick him in the face) and in a most surprising turn of events  "shut up".  According to Jethrene, she was taking them to daycare one morning and Daisy May, as usual, was yakking and chattering away and taunting Jethro.  Finally Jethro tires of it and sez "shut up".  Naturally, as we have told Daisy that "shut up" is a bad word and she's not to say it, she rats him out and harps continually about how Jethro said a bad word.  This incident happened a number of days ago and Daisy couldn't wait to inform me yesterday that "Jethro said a bad word".  I'm not taking her on any bank hiests with me.  She'd sell me out in a heartbeat.  She'd do well as a jailhouse informant.

Speaking of informants, I saw on the news where they rounded up most of the New York Gambino crime family.  The perp walk looked like a "Sopranos" casting call.  Good thing our pal Paulie Walnuts is hiding ou.....I mean has retired here in Blogsterville.

Well, I'm gonna try and sleep some more, futile though that might be.  Have a good weekend everyone.

Kids can be a great souce of entertainment as well as little buggers! I hope that you get some rest although in your sleeplessness, you are able to maintain your humor.

those two are real characters, lemme tell ya.  Daisy now has whole conversations and talks in complete sentences.  I'm sure Jethro will too, once he learns more words.  Still they are the sweetest of children and cute beyond words

sometimes, when this happens, I take a pain pill to lull me back to sleep but I don't like to do this too often as it can be habit forming.  and its not like I have anywhere to be or anything.Smile

I'm with you Aunt Buggs... I told my child ( when they were young)  " don't say shut up, you may say.... hush."  for all the good it did.   Did you know Lynell is making a  custom stained glass door for one of the beauty shop owners, a female "Gambino" in New Orleans?  She brought be a King Cake when she came up here last week from the "Gambino" Bakery.  The best I have ever tasted.  New York, New Orleans, gotta love the Gambinos.Cool

sounds yummy....bet the secret compartments for files and such are an optional featureWink  in my old apartment in the Flower City by the Lake, I had stained glass in two of the living room windows.  when the sun came up in the morning and shone through them in was a sight to behold. I just loved that house.

last night we went to our local diner for dinner. they all know us in there and they just love kota. The one lady asked kota, where have you been, i haven't seen you? he said, we had no money to come in. Embarassed kids, they sure can be embarassing.

I hope you can catch a nice nap today bugg!
