Good Morning Blogsterville:
Well, you could've knocked me over with a feather. Yesterday, former Gov. Mitt Romney (flip-flopping pacyderm-Mass.) unexpectedly bowed out of the race for his party's presidential nomination. He sez he's doing it for the good of the party and the good of the nation. I guess that's a better excuse than the old wheeze about spending more time with the family but it's not terribly original. I for one am suspicious. I think that there is more to this than has been revealed. I speculate that there just might be some scullduggery. Perhaps a blackmail photo involving the perverbial dead girl or live boy has surfaced. I mean the guy still had a chance but he just threw in the towel. Naturally all the news morons are analysing the crap out of this and making my, and everyone else's, butt ache with there continual know-it-all pronoucements. Huckleberry is still in their swinging but is obviously sucking around for the V.P. slot. What a dismal ticket this will make. Now let me say this. Sen. McCain is a true hero. While in the service of his country he was captured and tortured by the enemy. I read his book "Faith of My Fathers" and it was fascinating read and I highly reccomend it. I have nothing but admiration for his service. But he will make a piss poor president, in my view.
I suppose if, as a registered pacyderm, someone were to have held a gun to my head and said "you must choose a Republican" I guess I would have gone with McCain. He seems the least offensive of the lot. He's a right to lifer and has an immigration plan that amounts to amnesty. But the jackass's plan is little better from what I understand. I dunno. Its six of one and half dozen of the other. All the current crop of presidential hopefulls is a pretty sorry lot.
That's why we need a real choice, a real difference, a real agent for change. And who better than an old, fat, foul mouthed, opinionated, stubborn, true conservative. Honey J. Bugg. Only then can we have real reform and not just campaign rhetoric followed by four more years of the s.o.s (same ol' shit). So remember, my friends, on election day, take your crayon, magic marker, pencil, sharpie pen, lipstick, or felt tip and write in the only true candidate for change.

There seems to be a lot of *flip-flopping* these days. Yes, I was a bit surprised. I have heard that Huckabee is hoping for the VP spot. I don't know what to think. Too many surprises these days and life gets really confusing and turned upside down in a hurry.
Hope you have a good day my friend!!

I have to say that I was surprised about this since I was thinking that there is still quite a bit of time, but you are probably right. There is more behind his willingness to step down than we know.

and after I'd gone to all the trouble of making maps to track the primary wins. He did it deliberatly just to hack me off
Making me dizzy with your new type face. That is so weird.
Romney will be back in 2012 watch him.
I leave too,if spending 34 millions dollars,he should have given Hillary some.
That is a lot of money spend there.
sorry about the printing, 'fredo. was experimenting with different fonts. guess that one's a no go. I dunno, if I'd spent that much of my own money on an endeavor such as this, I'd sure wanna see it thru til the end. but that's just me

When will real Americans ever wake up to take back their own country? Isn't it time we all stand up and say to these crookad politicians "You work for us, not the other way around" If your not going to represent us why run for public office anyway. We can either remove them by voting them out or recalling them with Petition campaigns.
Did Americans forget what the nations Forefathers said. Whenever government gets abusive voting themselves huge gifts. Its the duty of American citizens to abolish the corrupt government and install a new one
I agree 100%......the people's voice must be heard and the people's will must be obeyed. Can I interest you in a Bugg For Poobah yard sign?

America will take back its country on Election Day with the write-in vote for the only candidate that makes any sense--my cuzzin' Bugg!!! As for McCain, I feel exactly as you do--great American but would make a piss poor president. I mean, the guy finished dead last in his class at West Point!!
yes, he might be a good defense sec. or some such but not the top job. Well, his pop was a famous admiral and so was his grandpop so I guess his graduation was already a done deal. Now I can't remember....did he go to West Point or Annapolis?

As you say, Ms. Buggs, we have slim pickin's. However, this will only make the task before us a much easier one. You go Ms.Buggs!
tanks, angie. as a student of history I have noted that most of our most revered "statesmen" were nothing more than hack politicians who just got respectable through the rose colored glasses of time so I guess this is nothing new.

Annapolis. Don't defame Army by suggesting McCain went to the US Military Academy! He was navy (Notice I spelled it with a lower case "n.")
I thought it was Annapolis. And I read the book, too. what a dunderhead.
